Published

Hello ,

Im 27 year old nurse mother of two girls, living in middle east gratuated in 2012 andnever been working since that or touching a book related in somehow to nursing .!!!

So recently i decided that i should do my nclex exam , but i dont know what to do

You cant imagine how hard is to open a book or reading an article .

I know that my situation is weired . But i'd love to hear or know any useful advice or trick that will encourage to help me study for nclex , and if there is anyone who been away from studying for along time just share with me your story in success . Cause i really need it

Thank you, hoping to see your replies :)

I think you need to start from the scratch because it is a long time you left school. I advice you to buy Saunders Nclex books for contents. Don't jump without making sure you know your content. I left school 2012, and yet to take the Nclex, and i have decided to first start studying from the basics i learnt in nursing school before planning to really enroll in any Nclex review class. Good luck to you.

Hey. I graduated 2014, I take my test this month and my friend graduated in 2012. She passed in february (2nd try) and we both went to the same school back in Africa, this is awhole different world of nursing for us, but if she (and me in a few weeks) can do it, so can you!!. So I strarted like a novice and went back to content using saunders then I used nclex mastery (wasnt too helpful) now I am 150 questions to the end of uworld with a 94th percentile, I also used hurst review and mark klimek audios, i have la charity and alternate format questions but am only half way through those. I know I am not 100% prepared but I am long way from where I started. And man was it hard to go back to studying!!. Start gradually maybe 1-2 hours a day and work your way up to the hours you feel comfortable with and maximize your time by reducing distractions around you. In about 6months to 1 year you would feel better prepared. Maybe even shorter. Doesnt matter how long it takes. What matters is that you let your self know you can do this. Goodluck

Thank you very much ,that was very helpful .

I promise you that i will do my best , and im sure you will get licensed in a few weeksí ½í¸Š

Please informe me with the result

Good luck dear
