Other threads about Resu applications had a lot of questions for me and other students about the program that are more personal, not technical, such as what it's like, the difficulty, etc. Rather than derail an existing thread and going off topic, I started this thread so you can ask me your questions.I just started at Resu in the daytime BSN in fall 2012. I love it! It's a lot of work but so far it's about what I expected. Please keep in mind I won't have all the answers right now because I just started my program, but over time hopefully I can help you even more.So let's keep this conversation going with your questions or concerns, and hopefully another present or past student will drop in as well!

if you don't meet the minimum requirements, and there is still room in the cohort, they will put your app in a pile to look at a month after the others are accepted. People are offered spots in the cohort, but if they don't reply back, they may lose their spots. so when you do get a call, since you are already a month behind, make sure you respond and accept their offer.

Does anyone know if there's a waiting list for resu? I am very interested in the program. Please let me know.

No you don't need a CNA, just the pre reqs need to be completed by the time u start. And no there isn't a waiting list.

first of all thank you for doing this thread. If you are able to get this, how hard was it to get in at resurrection U? Is it easier for you to get in if you work at any of the Presence Health Hospitals?

Hello everyone!

Fellow future nurse (LPN-grad this spring:)) and first time poster coming through with a question or two...

Ill be graduating and sitting for boards this spring for my LPN License and was looking for schools with BSN bridge programs. I saw ResU on another older post saying they have (or had) an LPN-BSN program. When I went to the school's site to research it more the page wasn't available. Anywho I did see something about a 16 month BSN program but the site doesn't really give you much on the requirements. Is this 16 month BSN program at ResU ONLY for people whom already have a previous baccalaureate degree in another discipline?? I know most BSN programs that are 16 months are usually the accelerated types of programs. Could I apply for this program with my LPN license along with the necessary PreReqs?? I need help and will appreciate all!

Hi, I just got accepted into ResU for the Accelerated BSN program, but I was also looking into Lewis University. Both will be challenging, but I was just wondering what are some pros and cons you gathered from the ResU program? I am the type of person who likes and learns better in smaller classes, and with groups and more one on one care, would you say ResU offers that? Thanks so much!
