2010 I started to take the re-requisite for the RN. I had and accident at work and it has taken be this long to recover. I am thinking about returning and finishing what I started. I love taking care of people and respect the profession. I am 46 now, aren't I a little to late to do this? I would respect opinions please....Thank you all in advance....

It's, not too late. I have good friends who are in their 50's. My only question is can you physically do it? A RN has a physically demanding job. Are you fully recovered from your accident?

It can be a demanding job, and the market is really tough right now in most places. Look into what new grads face in your area. For example, I live in CA, and we have a 43% unemployment rate for new grads for the first 18 months after licensure. Most new grads I know are working restaurant jobs or are just scrambling to get what they can.
That said, don't let your age hold you back. I had classmates in their 50s upon graduation. Do what works for you! :)

Good day, BRIGHTEYESv:
I started at 50; you are still very young.
Thank you.
