How do you approach with HS students about hygiene? In particular, body odor... I'm not quite sure how to phrase it without sounding like a jerk, and I don't want her to feel like she's being bullied by adults.
Her peers have told her and coaches too...

Do a search, discussed MANY times here. Not really in our lane, we aren't directly involved and should come from someone they have a relationship with is the general, lengthy, synopsis of this.

I still think this is in the counselor's purview since there's always a social element involved.

Especially in HS. I do carry deodorant in my office - tiny ones I give out upon request and kids will ask. But in my experience, hygiene issues in school have a social or financial component, and 9/10 it is because a student doesn't have access to a washing machine. My school does have a fund to help students in situations like these, and I have been the go-to person to get students detergent and laundromat money (covered by that budget, not my budget).
Thanks for the responses!
