Hybrid biology classes

Published

Has anyone taken micro biology or anatomy and physiology 2 as hybrid classes. I'm wanting to make life easier and wondering if either of these classes would be ok taking as hybrid. I'm getting an A currently in A&p 1 so I have good study habits. Just not wanting to bite if more than I can chew. Thanks

By hybrid, do you mean half online and half in person? If so, I think you will be fine. In fact, I took A&P completely online because I was confident in my own studying skills. You are wise to consider your study habits as proper discipline is very important in classes that have an online component. I don't think my online course was unreasonable in its workload at all -- a lot of A&P is self-memorization anyways.

I think those classes for hybrid aren't too bad. The material can be learned easily because it gets clarified during the labs if there's confusion. I don't think it's more than you can bite off and I only say this because I'm someone who struggles a lot with classes and they weren't too bad for me.

I took APII as a hybrid class. I really liked it, especially because I felt like API was a self-teaching experience. Since it's a lot of memorization, you can do that at home and bring any questions you have to class. Not bad at all.

I'm taking ap 1 as a hybrid and I love it! The work online is pretty easy it just takes a while to do and the lab is great. You just have to schedule time to work on the class and make sure you don't get behind. We have our lecture exams online and have to do learn smart modules.
