HVCC admissions help

I am awaiting decision for fall '13 for HVCC and getting very worried...i have been out of school for 6 years (have bachelor's in biology) and scored only an 85.4% on the TEAS exam. They claimed working in a nearby hospital would allow special consideration so i had my employer send a letter. Has anyone else heard anything? Do i have a good shot at getting in?

I just found out that I got accepted to HVCC for the Fall 2013 program. I haven't received anything in the mail yet but if you check the the HVCC Wired site it should tell you. https://www.hvcc.edu/wired/index.php

Good luck! I think an 85 should get you in, especially with the backdoor policy for working in a local healthcare setting. I just got my acceptance letter for fall 2013 last month. fingers crossed!

I had an 85 too and I found out today that 86 was the cut off this year! I did get in, but I was waitlisted first. I registered today! They don't send out admission decisions until middle-end of April then waitlist spots open up later in the summer.
