I was thinking about enrolling in hurst review online. I heard it was awesome. I enrolled in kaplan 2 months ago, and I'm not satisfied with it. I want a comprehensive review, not just practicing answering question. Just wondering, what are the topics in the video in hurst review?... how long it was, is it the same with the kaplan video, only the frequently ask question will be the topic in the video? What are the stuff will I get if I enroll in hurst review?.. Thanks

Videos: Fluid & Electrolytes, Acid/Base Balance, Burns, Oncology, Endocrine, Cardiac, Psychiatric, GI, Neuro, Maternity, Respiratory, Orthopedic, Renal, Pediatric & Management and Delegation. Each video differs in length anywhere from about 1/2 hr. to 2 hrs depending on how much content it covers. They also have a lot of extra supplemental material that you can review. You get to take up to 6 different 125 question Q Review tests.
Hurst Review
I thought its going to be like physiological adaptation, basic care and comfort.. etc. Based on what you said it seems the topic is not that many.
Not sure what you are looking for in a review or what you meant by your comment. I was very pleased with Hurst Review. Each subject area covers how a nurse would provide care for a patient specific to those areas. For example, Maternity would cover all the "nuts and bolts" of the important things on that subject you learned in nursing school that you need to know for NCLEX. Hurst is a content review whereas Kaplan's focus is more on strategies of how to answer questions. I passed first time with 75 questions so I recommend Hurst.

I second Hurst Review. I used it and Kaplan and passed with 75q first time. The Hurst Review gives a pretty good content refresher while the Kaplan questions will prepare you for the style of questions on the Nclex.
