I was wondering the same thing. I actually made a thread not long ago about it. The only other thread I saw was by someone who passed at 100 questions on the NCLEX. They got 83 questions right outta 125(66%) on the mock Hurst test. My other friend took the Nclex this past Friday...she got a 90 outta 125(72%), and a 82 outta 125(66%) on the Hurst exams..she passed at 75. I took 2 of the mock tests((((( it gives you 125 new questions each time in case anyone is wondering)))) I got a 92 outta 125(74%)the first time, and 103 outta 125(82.4%)....so I hope that's a good sign! How have you done on them?
Your goal should be to do the best you can on the test and not worry about scores. The NCLEX is scored differently than any test and is based on your particular skill level. There is no question bank that can tell you that a certain score equates to NCLEX scores. What we want you to do is learn all the material without a doubt and hesitation then take the test and review the questions with the rationale. Once you understand the rationales for the first test, take another. Good Luck!!
(This was sent to me in an email from Hurst when I was asking them a question about their new Q review)
I just finished the Hurst 125 questions and got 68 and next to it there was a mark of pass in green, so I'm happy with that...i feel like I know something. I would not rely so much on the review tests unless it's under 50...they are not designed for for you to score a 80 to 100. It's more about what you should review based on your weaknesses. NCLEX is pass or fail and if your are doing above 50 your are doing great and have a good chance of passing the NCLEX! Good luck to all!
sheronep,
I've been told by Hurst and Kaplan that if you are scoring above 50 that you have a good chance of passing. if you are scoring below...you may need to evauluate your weak area(s) and focus more on them. i scored 68 and 81 and the Hurst 125 mock and 65 to 71 on Kaplan so I feel pretty good with those scores. I feel prepared and confident...praying that I will keep that same attitude through out the test...which is 3 hours away! Study hard and stay awake! lol Good luck to ya!

I also took Hurst review online and I graduated internationally on 2006. I finished reading the Saunders comprehensive review and now I am doing Hurst review online. My scores are pretty low compared to all your scores. I only got 52% - 56% (took 4 mock exams already). I dont know if this is a good sign but when I tried doing Saunders Q&A's, my scores are pretty average. How will you know if you are ready to take the NCLEX-RN exam? This would be my 3rd time taking it and I want to make it this time.
Hi,
I saw your post and wanted to reply. I just finished taking my NCLEX RN exam today, it's my first try. I don't know if I passed or not but will know in 48HRS. I wanted to ask you if you have used the gone into the forum named: Anyone up for random FACT Throwing? Here is the website:Anyoone up for random FACT THROWING?? - Nursing for Nurses, just copy and paste. There is so much on there that can help you with retention of content material for the NCLEX-RN. I think that if you have a solid foundation in content then of course you will make a better educated guess. As you know, the NCLEX RN exam is just that, if you come down to 2 answers, do you have the knowledge to at least guess the right answer. It's amazing how much I have learned from that forum. If you don't read everything that is there, at least read all the mnemonics that are there, they will help you 1000 TIMES over! Hope this help.

What is an avg. score for the 125 hurst nclex questions? Also, what percentage should my goal be? I would also appreciate if you post your scores.
