Interviewed with DOU, 5W, and 6W. Got offers from DOU and 6W and still waiting to do one more interview with 5W but I'm just going to accept the offer for 6W! The recruiter said there was 3 spots for 6W, 2 for DOU, 2 for 5W.

Hey for those of you who got offers, did you start the onboarding process yet? Like sign the official offer letter and paperwork and stuff? I interviewed for neuro/stroke last Friday morning and got an offer that afternoon via phone call, but haven't gotten any emails to sign official paperwork yet. I'm just wondering if I should pester the recruiter or wait until everyone gets their offers...

Yes, 6W is oncology! The interview yesterday took about 30 min and it had 3 people: clinical supervisor, unit manager, and charge nurse. I think there was supposed to be a second panel interview but I got a call from the recruiter this morning that I got the position. Disclaimer: I am a student nurse intern at Huntington and was familiar with the charge nurse and unit manager before this interview.

I interviewed with them as well on Tuesday but I haven't heard back yet. Do you know if the 3 positions were already filled?

Here's a break down of my application experience: I applied on 3/10/25 morning, and recruiter called me on the same day to schedule for an interview. I had my interview on 3/19/25, which lasted around 20-30 mins with the unit manager, charge nurse, and 2 other charge nurses on Microsoft teams video, ended the interview with a tour of the unit. Recruiter called me with an offer 3/27/25. She said they were only hiring 2 new grads for ICU. Good luck to everyone!

🎉 Congratulations! I hope you have a good start to your nursing career. If I may ask, what kind of experience did you have prior to applying? Im having trouble even getting call backs for the jobs I've applied to, and id appreciate if you had any general tips to share.

Thank you 🙂 I was a student nurse intern at Huntington which I feel like helped a lot get my foot in the door at this particular hospital. A lot of people recommended getting your EKG certification on top of the required ACLS/BLS.
