Nurse3700 said:Hi everyone, I just got offered the new grad ICU position! Here's a break down of my application experience:
I applied on 3/10/25 morning, and recruiter called me on the same day to schedule for an interview. I had my interview on 3/19/25, which lasted around 20-30 mins with the unit manager, charge nurse, and 2 other charge nurses on Microsoft teams video, ended the interview with a tour of the unit. Recruiter called me with an offer 3/27/25. She said they were only hiring 2 new grads for ICU. Good luck to everyone!
Hi!! Do you mind sharing what the interview was like? What they asked and things of that sort? Thank you!!

Hi! The questions were pretty standard like "why do you want to work at Huntington? Tell us about a time you had a difficult patient or family. Or where do you see yourself in 5 years.” They didn't ask any clinical questions because they don't expect you to know anything, but they just want to see the kind of person you are, if that makes sense. Hopefully this helps!
