It was crazy...there were more than 600 people there, and I found most people to be interested in the ICU. Which BTW are only hiring one person. The hospital is absolutely beautiful, and I spoke with one of the nurses who absolutely loves it there.

For those that came from out of state, i feel bad for you. It was well managed in terms of getting 600 people through there. No positions for ER. I enquired about NICU and all their spots for the current new grad programs are already filled. Will have to wait till January to apply. What gives? I found the ICU position rather interesting, 1 spot available. Its kind of depressing but leaving CA is looking more attractive than ever.

Beautiful hospital and what a great place to start your career if you are 1/100 plus applicants to get hired for your department of choice.

I'm sorry to hear about all of the people coming from out of state for basically nothing. Why would they fill all of the spaces for the new grad program before the new grad open house. You will probably be happy else where.

Beautiful hospital but having known several people who have worked there, not all cracked up to be.

Did anyone mention anything about the class action lawsuit filed by several nurses against Hunt Hosp. As far as I know, it is a multi-million $ lawsuit and the hosp lost for not paying its employees per their contract.

Its extremely slim pickings. From talking to certain department directors, they want the process to go through them. Then you deal with HR.
