Members are discussing the logistics of a nursing program at Hunter College, including issues with adding members to a break room, the duration of the program, and the schedule of classes. There is also confusion about program details, such as in-person requirements and class start dates, as well as concerns about the accuracy of emails received from the program director. Additionally, members are sharing information about their commute to the program and comparing it to other universities.
Hey! have not found a thread yet for this coming up hunter pmhnp.
Anybody applied?
Hey! That's great. I am in Suffolk county. What about you? I would prefer a brick and mortar but the commute + working full time seems taxing. I looked online at the schedule and read on some other forums. As long as it is only 1-day a week I think it will be doable.
I am going to try to talk to somebody from the school about it and I'll report back.

Also in Suffolk! I work full time too but have no choice but to make it work for now- it's a good opportunity. Please report back!!

Hey everyone! I found out (as you can see above, haha) that we can't share outside links here unless it's through a Breakroom/Club (which requires 15 posts to create). I don't have that yet, but if anyone does and is open to starting one for our cohort, I'd love to join and share a space I set up for us to connect. Just putting it out there!

I'm from LI too! Is there somewhere where you see how often we have to be in person for class? What did you see? And going to a brick and mortar school vs online program is better as per my family who are psych nps and physicians doing pretty well. I have a friend who finished the program last year and she's doing great
