Humber RPN to RN bridging

World Canada CA Programs

Published

Hi all,

I applied to Humber for January 2021 for the RPN to RN bridging.  The program is restricted to only Seneca & Humber grads.  Does anyone have any idea how competitive it is to get in?

Anyone in the program already?  Thoughts?  Reviews?  Please let me know.

Hey, did you end up getting into the bridging program? What was your average when applying? I’m also looking to apply to this bridging program.

I hate it, this program is terrible.  Bridging was good, with mostly good professors.  Third year RN is a nightmare.  Go elsewhere, Humber is garbage.

Im in the RPN- its good so far. What was it terrible for you?

They don't look at avergae for RPN-

If you want to go to the RN program they do look at the average.  RPN is apparently good, lots of good teachers I heard.  I did mine at Seneca, which had fantastic, passionate professors.

Humber's RN program is filled with radical left winged nut jobs.  One professor, Barbara Kennedy, basically spends the entire class ranting about "Covid conspiracies".  She said anyone who is not Covid vaccinated or doesn't wear a mask can go to jail.  Really?  So we're going to censor any "misinformation" but we'll teach RN students that not wearing a mask gets you behind bars?  OK.  Getting your money's worth in this class.

Next up, got a research course where the class average is just under 60%, sweet.  By the way, these are all keen, over achieving "A" students and not even ONE of them cracked a B on our nursing research exam.

If you can bridge anywhere, go to UOIT.  Way easier, less stress.  *** Humber.

Id love to ask more question about your experience- is there any other way to message you?
