Humber General Arts and Science

World Canada CA Programs

Published

Hi everyone!

I just got accepted into Humber's General arts and science program! I'm excited/nervous about it. Does anyone know what the program is like? They told me the minimum mark they accepted this year to get into the RN program was 80%, I'm just wondering if that is really tough to get? 2 years ago I finished school for Registered Massage Therapy and my average was 86% and I already have a good base of the health sciences, but I didn't take any math or english which in the past have found rather tough.

Anyways, I was just interested in hearing any opinions on the program!

Thanks :)

i have a question for the mathemical test for general arts and science were you allowed to use a calculator. I'm just wondering because for the practical nursing at humber you can't use a calucator.

Yes, you can use a calculator in the math tests. I'm not sure about the practical program, but this year is the first year we are able to use calculators for the bachelor program.

I'm so confused... so when you took the admission math test for humber to get into the program general arts and science- health and technology program. you were allowed to use a calculator right?

just making sure... Dx

yes i used a calculator.

At first, I thought you were talking about the math course in the general arts program, not the test to get into it.

But either way, I used a calculator for both

thank you so much :D how's the RN program at humber so far? :)

omg i read over my mistake... fail... i was talking about the admission test to get into the rpn program at humber. you can't use a caculator :/ I just wanted to know if that rule applies when taking the addmission math test for GAS program at humber.

:o its the same test... i just emailed the program co-orindator for general arts and science... she said it will be the same math test as pratical nursing :/ you can't you a calculator -_-

I'm so angry Dx

Last year was pretty good. The work was manageable. This semester......is insanely busy

i can imagine it would be... two of my friends are in first year at humber for rn.. i don't see as much. my friend is always studying :p yeah you basically have no social life. how you holding up?? too much memorizing?

This semester is definitely too much memorizing! but it's almost over. yay! do you wanna do rpn or rn?
