Humber College Second Entry (2015)

Published

Figured I would start this thread so we can get some discussions going. I'm starting the Humber Second Entry program this September (2015). Pretty excited, also a bit worried about this 74% cut-off.

Who else is going to join me in the craziness of this program??

hi guys,

I just got into the program last week, really excited.

I was wondering if anyone is moving close to the campus. I'm looking for a place and would really like to move in with someone in the same program. Please let me know, it will be a huge help.

Thank You

Hi! Just found out that I was accepted into the program last week-super excited! Can't wait to meet everyone in the program. Has anyone been for a tour? I haven't actually been yet but thinking it might be nice to see the campus before going in September. Just joined the facebook group as well.

HoneyBee, I did a tour last year. It was pretty good :) The facilities seem pretty awesome, and the prac lab is great. I've always heard Humber has good resources for Nursing students to use. I think that's really key, as practical skills are a huge component of Nursing/Med

Has anyone gotten any updated information on tuition?

Has anyone gotten any updated information on tuition?

It's $1870.41 + the mandatory health insurance which is $575 = $2445.41 for the prep semester.

Remaining balance is due September 21, 2015.

i got accepted too!

Thanks Anna. Forgot about the health insurance! :(

I know, it's a little pricey in my opinion. Even at UofT it was only around $300.

I get sick of seeing 'fees' at schools. Which is a runaround way of them trying to get more money out of students.

I hear ya! It's a never ending cycle. It'll all be worth it in the end hopefully!!

Also is anyone taking Anatomy, Physiology, Stats & Microbio?

I'm taking all, except for Stats (got exempt from that)

Awesome! Glad to know I'm not the only one taking 4/5 :)
