Can anyone please give me some feedback on these 2 insurance companies in an employee's perspective.

I haven't worked for them, but have friends who worked for them. BCBS have bonus at the end of the year, with nice 401k benefits after so many years of service. The medical insurance at Humana is not great per my friend. Both have potential to work remote w/flex, humana pays more upfront compared to BCBS. BCBS is more organized compared to Humana per my friends. Remember this is all their personal opinions and it depends who are the managers as well. Overall the benefits are better with BCBS.
Thank you very much.

I have not worked at Humana, but did at Blue Cross Blue Shield. Pay was poor and not everyone who deserved the annual bonus got it. Definitely not the good employer one might think! Lots of stuff went on that was not right such as employee harrassment. No help for those who went to management. HR headed by an attorney. So that should give you an idea. I think they had a lot of law suits.

I recently started as a CM at Anthem BCBS. I have been impressed with the training (some of which is too long but they don't just throw you in), my boss who is remote, and several other things. It may not be this way for all CMs at Anthem but it appears others on my team are happy. Pay seems to be competitive in my area.
