Hi Everyone,
Am taking some prerequisites courses at Athabasca University which include Human anatomy and physiology and I have 3 months to finish it all so i can transfer my credits to U of A by June before the final decisions are made. My first midterm result is out and it is slightly above average, I plan to re write it so as to boost my score, please I need advise on how to get a high score..Currently am tensed and frustrated, getting admitted to the After degree nursing program at U of A mean everything to me....your sincere advice is sincerely appreciated

Are you aware of your areas of weakness? I just studied my notes and had my kids quiz me on stuff. Repetition helps.
Thank you...that's what have been doing but I have a limited time to cover it all.

hey, I just started studying for this course. I am hoping to give me first midterm mid June. I am going to apply for accelerated program in 2019 and this is a pre-req i need. Also, looking to get my gpa boosted by this. Currently, i am just following study guides and reading anatomy flash cards. Can you give me some tips on what to really focus on? any advise on what chapters i can focus on for first midterm and how were the critical questions? were they tricky? or similar to study guide provided?
Thanks,
Sumaiya Lareb

Hi Sumaiya, what I will advise is for your to follow the study guide, make notes with them...try the Wiley quiz that follow each chapter, make sure you understand, then you can use the anatomy drill to understand diagrams, you can as well snap the quiz questions if you have chance...they might repeat one or 2 questions in ur exam. I wish you all the best.

Hey, I don't have study tips but if you don't mind me asking, how much did each course cost? I have been looking into taking extra courses through Athabasca but saw that each course is around $800. Is that correct?

that sounds about right, and it costs more if you are not an Alberta resident
how are the midterms? do you have to go to an invigilated place to write them, or are they online at home?
