  1. thanks! another curious question, are Kwantlen RN graduates on an even basis with UBC and BCIT and other RNS for first job as an RN after graduating?
  2. thanks, I am already in for September, so it will be what it will be :) how is the practical stuff done? is it an every day thing during the term where you have to go to a clinic or facility or something? Do they give you a choice of where?
  3. accepted into the program for this September, and found this thread so hoping some of you that got in might still be around to comment How are you finding the program so far?
  4. we are eager for information too there was a thread last year that had some information, maybe some of those students are still around and might see this thread https://allnurses.com/canada-nursing-programs/kwantlen-polytechnic-university-834083-page13.html
  5. does anyone have any thoughts or experiences on the actual Kwantlen nursing program after the foundations year? Are class sizes and the organization of the program well put together?
  6. any of those that got accepted have any advice for the rejected? if one is to try again next year, I guess taking some courses to try to raise GPA would be one possibility? what would you suggest for volunteering, if one has no volunteer position right now? The Casper test was tough, so fast it went by like a blur. I guess we could improve our typing skills, but not sure if that would make enough of a difference. We do get to write the test again next year and this year is not considered, correct? thanks, and congrats to those that got accepted, and those of us who didn't, best of luck finding somewhere else or perhaps improving enough to get accepted next year
  7. how are the midterms? do you have to go to an invigilated place to write them, or are they online at home?
  8. that sounds about right, and it costs more if you are not an Alberta resident
