Hss anyone used NCSBN's learningext.com??

I was hoping for some feedback on learningext.com....This is the online review that is done by the NCSBN. I hear so many people say such good things about Kaplan, but I'd think that the review created by the people who actually write the test would be the most valuable...What do you think?

I used it and found it very useful as it helped me to understand a bit how things work in the US and on who can do what ie LPN CNA etc.

I didn't pass the NCLEX and my boss is an RN who is pushing this program on me. She said that there was a study done that the students who use it did 25% better on practice test after using it and have pass the NCLEX!

We are going to be using it for 5 weeks as part of our 4th semester NCLEX prep course; access starts on Monday. If this thread is still alive, I'll post a comment once I see the course.

We are the "pilot" group for this, so its free...upcoming classes will have to pay for it.

That's awesome! I'm very interested to hear your thoughts. I've been going back and forth on spending the $50 because DH just lost his job and we have NO INCOME right now. But I had the same thoughts as the OP - it's got to be helpful based on who makes it! I take the NCLEX in two weeks!!!
