HRSA 2021-2022

Updated:   Published

I haven't seen anyone start a thread about applying for this year's HRSA scholarships. I am waiting to see if I am accepted into a school in IL (fingers crossed!) and then I am going to start my application process for HRSA. The program I am applying to is a 16 months ABSN that starts in august! what about you all?

Have you been accepted some where yet? Still in the application process? Already started the Scholarship application?

I’m not sure if they’re doing a order but in the first round I did see a lot of advanced levels. I just got mine yesterday and I’m base level RN.

Hi was your credit checked prior?

This wait gets longer and longer by the day.

I guess credit checks doesn’t matter. I got a credit check and haven’t gotten a finalist letter.

OK right so would that probably rule you out for a market place health care plan??

Nope, you should still be able to get Medicaid.

Would nurse corps pay for the school’s health insurance? Is that considered a reasonable cost?

Yes. They cover your health plan through the school.

Thank you! Wishing everyone best of luck!
