Hey everybody who gets this. I am apart of the Nurse Corps Facebook Group and a someone posted and said that their award offer was recalled due to lack of funding. The person was an ASN or BSN student. And I only met one MSN student who received two credit checks and a COI email but don't know if she was offered the loan repayment or scholarship. So I don't wanna be the bearer of bad news but things are looking grim at this point. Will update you all if I hear anything new

im in that same one, they just got less funding than expected this year. im assuming instead of 10% it'll be like 5-8%. Unless someone declines their finalist letter, there may be no more finalists if they're already recalling awards. Who knows tho, were in the latter stages so well find out shortly

Wait so did she get it & they took it back? When did they send recipient emails?

I'm gonna go to the group now and screen shot the post for y'all. I was to disappointed 😔

no. she got the finalist email, submitted COI, and they recalled it. nobody has gotten an official award yet

I will submit screenshots of all post separately and someone in the group called and HRSA stated that they will be giving out COI's up until September 30th

Giselle Jones is the only MSN student I saw on the group who received an offer and only one person on this thread I believe. No other Advance practice Nurse has posted anything besides those two

@cheenwah  thank you for the updates....OMG! the suspense is thick 😭. This whole process is beyond me, literally!  Kind of getting over it, the stress is to much.

 

The people that I've seen that received COI and credit checks the end of July still haven't heard anything as of yet either.

The struggle is real! It's like they are making it hard for those that are trying to make something of themselves. Keep trying for scholarships/ pell grants.

I want to add to this screenshot as well. At one point there was an attachment that stated they did not submit their requested documents in time. So their COI was rescinded.

I Pray that is the case because Im feeling left out. However, I did make it to the finalist group years ago when I applied.
