No credit check for me so I'll just wait it out for the rejection email, but thankfully have a scholarship and tuition discount through my school that will make my semester tuition only $1500 so I think I can manage those loans for 4 semesters once I'm making nurse money. The stipend would have been nice but we qualify for food stamps and childcare assistance with our income now at least!

Don't give up just yet. There's people who change their minds last minute and there's another wave of credit checks after August 1st since some might not be interested. Best of luck!

Congratulations everyone who became finalists! Are any of you finalists going for your NP and received it? Or is everyone going for associates or bachelors? I am going for my NP but only applied for the nurse corps scholarship (not the HRSA), so wondering if I'm even likely to get a chance.

I haven't even received a credit check either😭 I really needed this, but I'm just glad that it's going to people who may be in more need than I am❤️

If I got my credit check Monday and my application still says under review but I didn't get a finalist email do I still have a chance to receive it?

Does anyone know about how long it takes to go from "Accepted award - in final review" after submitting the COI to officially being awarded? I can't find a good answer online, and I don't want to stress until September about if I'm gonna actually get the scholarship 😭

What happens if you have your credit locked? There was just a big security leak at the hospital I work at and all of the employees names and social security numbers were taken. So I shut down all my credit reports!
