2025 HRSA Nurse Corps Scholarships

This is for anyone interested/applying for HRSA Scholarship.

Have you been accepted? Still in the application process? Just started the Scholarship application?

Apply to the Nurse Corps Scholarship Program

You are eligible if you:

  • Are a U.S. citizen (born or naturalized), a national, or a lawful permanent resident
  • Are an accepted or enrolled student in a nursing degree program at a United States accredited school of nursing
  • Begin classes no later than September 30
  • Don't have any federal judgment liens
  • Don't have an existing service commitment
  • Aren't overdue on a federal debt

Note: Preference to those who need the most help financially.

Why should you apply?

If you receive an award, you'll get a monthly stipend—and they'll pay your

  • tuition;
  • eligible fees;
  • reasonable costs (includes books, clinical supplies/instruments, and uniforms).

Thats not true, because, there were some with no credit checks who received scholarships last year.

According to several people on the facebook group, saying last year they didn't recieve a credit check and got the scholarship.

Oh wow, that's surprising. I just requested to join the FB group, hopefully there's more info on there. I'm SO impatient! I just wanna know!

It is a good sign, you got a credit check, its just not 100 percent guaranteed.

Hi, 

To those that got their credit scores checked already, when did you all submit your application?

I am really hoping I get this scholarship, its actually the only way I'll be able to afford to pay tuition for my ABSN program. 

The wait it heightening my anxiety.

Has anyone heard anything after getting the credit check? Mine was done on June 22.
