I submitted my application the day before the deadline and the next day status changed to "under review". I have not had a credit check yet. I called and the person stated they have until 9/30 to make a decision. She also said that denials are sent last so even if we're not picked, we won't know until the very last minute. I was hoping they would have individual application information instead of the same generic info they give everyone.

Specializes in CCU.

I submitted it about a month before the application closed and my application still says 'submitted'. I am in CRNA school as well so I don't know if that has hindered my application by any means. I also haven't received a credit check so I don't know how to feel ?

I wouldnt worry about that too much ,because, people last year never had credit checks and took until August for their applications to be under review. I seen some who got their credit checks the end of August and applications under review, I believed on the 25th, then three days after they got notified they were finalists. The people who have credit checks and under review now ,yes there's a good chance they will get in, but its not a guarentee; I watched a video of ThatNurseVera on Nursing Corps, and she said they if they checked your credit, there is a good chance you got, but its not guarenteed. On the thread, I seen a few people that got it without getting their credit checked at all. I believe tiers can probably play a factor as well, maybe that could affect the chances of acceptance along with EFC. August would most likely be where we find all of that out.

Has anyone gotten any updates? ☺️

Nope, just checked ?

my application says under review. I don't have a credit card so there's no way for them to check my credit, I'm just praying that I am a finalist! Best of luck and hopefully we receive the good news soon

Specializes in SICU/MICU.

you don't need a credit card to have your credit checked.

I am under review too, credit check 6/22. I am worried since it seems the people in Loan repayment had their credits checked in June and are getting alerted now about being a finalist. But I am in an ABSN program and people from last years threads in ABSN got credit checks in July/August

Any updates yet?? Did anyone receive an email or credit check? I saw on FB someone got a credit check last weekend

Hiiii it's augusttt!! My application for the BSN says submitted still... should I be worried LOL?

Nothing yet for me. Mine still says "under review".  Do you guys have have any suggestions?, not sure what to do here, as classes start first week of September and I don't have a co-signer for private loans.
