Anyone hear anything lately?? The FB group has been pretty silent. I think its odd the 2nd wave of credit checks wasn't done?? Or maybe it was and no one is saying anything. I just feel like compared to last years, this years threads have been pretty silent.

I think if I don't hear back with the next wave of emails, I'll give up hope LOL I just feel discouraged because my credit was checked 6/22 and a lot who have heard back were also checked 6/22. I also wish they would tell you if you were disqualified because of insufficient documents or something came up on your credit cause being "under review" and lowkey never being considered is so cruel

I believe two things could be possible, either they delayed the credit checks to this week, or maybe they are doing it differently this year with just the credit checks in June and July and not August. The funding this year could also be less, hopefully, that's not the case. I believe either this week or next week could be the week with multiple emails because eventually, the finalists have to get notified if they are accepted; looking at last year's thread finalists' emails were given by the 16th, and after that, it was just to see who got the award.

Yeah, I feel this way as well, If our credit disqualifies us, they should let us know before we won't be considered so we won't be wasting our time. I noticed as well everyone who got their credit checks on 6/22 had got their credit checks, I believe there were a few who didn't have their credit checks yet who got the finalist email. Last year, the ones who didn't get their credit check shortly after receiving their finalist email, like about two or three days after, got it on August 25; keep in mind not everyone got a credit check and still got the finalist email, it's just a good indicator they are checking your application. It doesn't make sense to me that they want you to be enrolled in a program before September 30th but let you know if you got it two to three weeks after deep in your program, and not everyone has access to a cosigner: they should let everyone know by August 31st, its a risk most have to take to wait and see if they got it with no funding, and after a certain amount of time after the semester starts and you don't drop your classes you will owe them money.

Yes I've just seen about 4 or 5 people who said they were notified as a finalist. I have not heard anything and my account still says under review
I called to reset my password the lady just said it's under review as we speak. When I got in online it doesn't say under review anymore it says application closed. I'm not expecting any good news because of EFC. Which confuses me because if you're applying for funding for a DNP program you've been a nurse already for a while working etc...
I am currently enrolled in a DNP-PMHNP program and recently got a COI email from HRSA for the nursing corp scholarship. I was wondering if anyone had any insight on prospect of getting accepted into the scholarship at this point? I have been a bit anxious throughout this process with the amount of money this would be, and planning out life has been a bit difficult with this all up in the air. Any ideas?

No updates for me ? I'm getting really anxious but I'm not trying to lose hope. I just saw in the facebook group that I'm in that someone got a credit check in June and wasn't notified of being finalist until September 26th. So we still have time! Wishing everyone luck. I know I need it. Haha.
Got confirmation of interest email yesterday for ABSN program. Already did private loans for Summer Term anyone know if they will reimburse for that? Best of luck to everyone it is nerve wracking
