Yes! They reimburse for my Summer term, when I did my BSN, once you are all up set up, HRSA assign you a person, let them know your program has Summer as part of the required semester and HRSA will send the school the money and the school will reimburse you!!

Specializes in In my senior yr of my BSN Program at piedmont.

Aww your lucky ? did you get a credit check

Yeah looks like they did a credit check 6/22, so a while back but they just notified me I was a finalist 8/30. @ZfutureRN Thanks for the comment! did they reimburse for the stipends for Summer term too or just tuition?

I called customer service and they said if you receive a denial email you could ask why you were denied, and the two reasons can be either you weren't chosen or your credit was found ineligible to be accepted.

Hope everyone had a nice Labor Day weekend. Has anyone heard anything yet?

I have not heard anything at all

Congrats to everyone who received the scholarship! Question that I can't seem to find the answer to, How does it work if you have to take out loans first? I'm doing an ABSN that starts in the Spring (January). So if I were to receive the scholarship late in the year, is there back pay or something?

I received my COI on September 7th at 1:48 a.m. Eastern Standard Time.

Did anyone hear stuff back today?

I was notified 9/7 at 1:48am! I thought after getting this notification I would be able to relax but now I'm even more anxious ?

Same, even more anxious because we have a short time to get the school to fill out the verification form, I tried yesterday but they said the machine was broken and to come back tomorrow.

I think some had said that they back pay loans so I'm not sure, Someone with that situation would have to confirm.
