Hi everyone. Just starting this since I didn't see a thread for this application cycle. I received the NCLRP in 2009 and this is the 3rd time applying in the last 5 years.

I believe I got my counter signature yesterday. However, my status is still "Accepted Award - Under Final Review". Does anyone have any insight on this? Does this mean I received the award?

Nice! It does look like a counter signature. Where did you see this at if I may ask?

I can no longer see it, as I was just changed to a participant! But it was under something like "Review your signed contract"

Thank you!! I just checked and I don't have that yet. ?

Just called earlier this morning as I had received the counter signature last week but nothing had changed on my profile. After speaking with someone I received a welcome email 30 minutes later and now my profile has been changed to participant. The representative said if I hadn’t received anything by Monday to give them a call back.

I was in the same situation! I was about to call but see my account has now been updated to participant (maybe thanks to you!)

I received a countersignature on 8/29 and am still showing "accepted award - under final review". I called yesterday and spoke to someone who said if I don't receive an email within 24 hours to call back. When I called back today, I was put on hold for several minutes, then was told I am still under review, not guaranteed an award, and will be notified by September 30th!

This is so frustrating.

Okay so....I have no idea what to do with myself and maybe one of you lovely people might have a better idea than me. This is my second year applying for the award, and I had heard crickets until this point and assumed I was in for another "no." Then I got an email tonight saying I was a finalist and that I have until 9/6 to sign either way. The only problem is this: I have an interview for my dream job at another facility on 9/8 that I have a decent shot at getting. I am not 100% sure if the other facility would qualify. Does anyone know 1) how "final" being a finalist is (like if I sign it am I basically guaranteed or could I still not get it) 2) when we know for sure and 3) how they would handle it if I changed jobs this early in the process, assuming the new place qualifies?

I think you should find out if the place you are switching to qualifies and I believe all you have to do is tell them you are switching and to what place

How are y’all finding these jobs! I’m a new grad and have been looking into this and I’ve looked on the HRSA connector and there are facilities (very few) but no jobs! There was 1 job and it was considered rural in which will be 5hrs away from where I will be living. I’m soon moving to Virginia and open to nurse corp jobs in Virginia or Washington DC. But it’s been hard trying to seek a job that is elegible for this program. Any feedback from y’all is appreciated considering recruiters don’t respond back LOL
