HRSA Nurse Corps Loan Repayment 2022

Hi everyone. Just starting this since I didn't see a thread for this application cycle. I received the NCLRP in 2009 and this is the 3rd time applying in the last 5 years.

NP with DTI ~150% and HPSA 17

Update on those waiting for counter signatures:

I called and they said that there are very few things that would stop someone from getting a counter signature. Some examples provided were: poor credit, change in site, any conflicting information with site, etc. 
If you have been offered the award and are waiting for a counter signature, it is very promising. 
 

Also, awards are still being awarded so hold on to hope!

Did you actually get awarded the "funds" for the Nurse Faculty award or is it just the email to say you intend on accepting it contingent on funding? 

 

Just asking because I got that email last month and still awaiting for them to award the actual "funds."

Same, first signature July 8th, and then after reading your comment went to check and I got a counter signature today!! So excited!!

I received my finalist notification June 22nd.

I just got my counter signature today, August 16th! ?

RN, BSN, nursing staff. 4th time applying.

DTI >100%, HPSA 17 (critical access hospital)

Hi,

Has anyone that has received the award worked at a disproportionate share hospital. I’ve had a hard time calculating my HPSA score because I am unable to look mine up. It shows the HPSA for my hospitals primary care, dental, and psych but not inpatient. My applicants says my employer falls under the disproportionate share category. From my research, the nurse corps program gives 15% of its funding to disproportionate share sites, so wondering how the HPSA scores for these sites are calculated. If anyone has any insight it would be much appreciated. Good luck everyone!

I know this is an old thread, but I am looking for guidance as far as seeking employment that falls under the nurse corp LRP. I am moving to virginia and I've logged onto their website (HRSA connector) but there are literally no jobs. I think I found 1 and it was in Whyteville. Does anyone know how else I can seek employment in a facility that is eligible? There doesn't seem to be many facilities.

I believe I got my counter signature yesterday. However, my status is still "Accepted Award - Under Final Review". Does anyone have any insight on this? Does this mean I received the award?
