HR and TPAPN

Here is my question. HR is asking me to share my TPAPN info with them. I'm concerned that this information will be stored with my file long after I complete TPAPN. Is HR supposed to have this ? According to TPAPN, any information regarding TPAPN is to be kept in a separate file by my supervisor. I'm assuming that this is to prevent this info from following me. Has anyone else had to share this info with an HR person?

I never had past or present. They dont understand the process. They arent your peers. Just educate them that it is to be kept seperate.

I am not sure what state you are in, but in Florida we are required by our IPN contract that if we are working in the nursing field we MUST give a copy of our contract to our employer. Not giving our employer a copy is considered being non compliant and we get whacked on the hand with a ruler over it.

What all is HR wanting? Most programs will only give out little information. I know in Florida we can't even get a copy of our IPN case file, well unless you hire a lawyer. But if TPAPN is like IPN I would believe they are just looking for your contract.

Personally I would call my CM speak with them and ask what they think. If you need to give HR a copy of your contract, just simply take it to them in person and speak with the person you are handing it over to. Explain it is a contract with an expiration date and that you want to make sure they know this and you will be back on given expiration date to see that the contract is removed from your employee file.
