How do YOU squash test anxiety?

I'll be retaking my NCLEX in the near future and I was wondering what methods people used to get rid of test anxiety.

The last time I took NCLEX test anxiety seemed to overwhelm me and it was hard for me to concentrate. I've never had test anxiety before but NCLEX has now given me a steady dose of it.

Some things I had in mind were maybe watching a movie and getting a massage the day before....

Suggestions? :D

If it is so overwhelming maybe medication. If not then I would do extremely funny movies and shopping. Don't forget to take deep breaths in the exam and just convince yourself that its just another test. Best of luck

Dont do anything drastic before the exam. And when you feel like the anxiety is getting to you, close your eyes, imagine something pleasant, take 3 deep breaths and go.

same here...i've got the same feeling... but i'm doing my same study habits and into saunder's plan...and the advice in her book is also helpful to reduce anxiety...

i also go out with my family and friends...:bow:
