How US nurses transfer to Mexico

Hello,

I am a nursing student and will be taking my boards in June. Also in June, I will be moving to Los Cabos, Mexico. I am looking for information on how to transfer my nursing license so that it will be applicable in Mexico. Please, do not load me down with information on how dangerous Mexico is and how little I will be paid; I am marrying a Mexican national and already have a house. All of my research is complete other than the licensing issue, and my decision has been made. I thank you for any help you may be able to give me, and if any nurses currently working in Mexico read this, I would be grateful for any advice and tips. I am so so so very excited about this move and really look forward to reading these replies!

Have you spoken to whatever board or organization licenses nurses in Mexico? I would think that would be the obvious place to start.
