Feb 15, 201016 yr i made index cards but i'm not sure if i'm studying them the right way. so, i wrote down ace inhibitors : end in pril* side effects: hypotention, hacking cough, nausea and vomiting and respiratory symptoms. * nursing interventons: monitor vs, monitor wbc count, monitor the electrolyte levels. beta adrenergic blockers: end in olol* side effects: orthostatic hypotention, bradycardia, nausea/vomiting, diarrhea, congestive heart failure, blood dyscrasis. * olol help lower bp, lower pulse, lower cardiac output, migraine headache, glaucoma and mi* nursing interventions: monitor the pt for lab values: protein, bun, creatine check bp, heart rate, rhythm, check for signs of edema* teach: teach pt to rise slowly, report bradycardia, dizziness, confusion, depression, or fever. taper off medication. is that right? is that how i should be studying? man, so much to memorize. help!!
