How to start looking for grad school (FNP)?

I'd like to get started on a FNP program but don't know where to begin. A lot of schools competing for attention.

Start with answering these questions...

what kind of learner are you?

what do you want out of the program?

How much money are you willing to invest?

Also ask other nurses who are in school and see what they say about their programs ...keep in mind all programs have their issues but what matters is if the program is accredited and is a good fit for you!

Good luck

Be sure to ask any school you are considering if they help you find clinical placements or whether you are on your own to do that. If it is up to you to find your own clinical placements, you should be working on making those connections and finding some possible placements before you commit to school. It can be a real problem for some students to find and make arrangements for those clinical placements themselves.
