How is this school compated to other online schools

Hello, I was thinking about going back to school after being an Lpn for over 20 years. I've taken most pre requisite courses such as A&P and micro as well as English comp one and two. I've read that this school transfers credits with no time limit which would keep me from doing more schooling. Any insight on this school would be appreciated.

Micro and A&P have a 5 year time limit just like most other schools (online, distance or brick&mortar)

I must of read it wrong in guessing. Could of swore it said would accept any length for those subjects as long as it was an accredited college

This changed in 2012.

Ok so I have to retake all my classes again. That stinks but it had been like 10 years. As long as I get my Rn then I will be happy

Just to clarify, because there are so few online LPN to RN programs: there are several out there that purport to be colleges but are simply book sellers (The College Network, Rue). Excelsior is one of the few out there. I think there may be a few more out there, but they require some regular clinicals as opposed to EC's one time clinical exam: CPNE.

Thanks, that clarifies a lot. My kids are older now so it will be easier to study. Aside from them bickering they do give me my space. I will inquire more from their program after I read up on it more

It's only the science classes with a time limit. This foes not apply to English, math, humanities, social sciences, etc. good luck!
