How to pass the NCLEX-PN in 2019?

Published

I’ve taken this test 10 times over a three year period and can’t pass. I just got my report and from the 8 sections: Coordinated Care, Safety and Infection Control etc.; I got “above the passing standard” on one of the sections, “near the passing standard” on four of the sections and “below the passing standard” on three of the sections. My question is do I need to be “above the passing standard” on all the sections or most of them? When you pass, does it even display the results like this? I’ve been using UWorld and on my last attempt at the NCLEX I’ve been taking notes based on the rationales instead of doing an endless sea of questions like from in my previous attempts. Also, I’ve been in school knocking out some general education courses for the RN program these past 3 years while trying to take the NCLEX. I think it’s part of the reason on why I can’t pass but it’s summer now and I’m free and I still failed when I took the test last week. I want to do this because I know I can get a job when I’m done. I’m a Medical Assistant making $20/hr and I’m not even certified. I plan to transfer from the floors of the hospital to the clinic division of the hospital so at least I have some good things lined up for me. Any advice would really help because I’m really depressed about all this.

48 hours. It’s actually accurate when they say that. I kept logging in and eventually I logged in around the same time I took my exam in quick results.

Good for you that there is quick results. I guess I have to wait for mine in the mail or breeze. Thank you and congratulations!

With the amount of times I retook it, I would go crazy to keep waiting for my result. It’s $7.95 for quick results and I think it’s worth it. Also, the official copy always comes exactly in one week from the test date.

Thanks for the advice! Appreciate it.
