Hi, where is the cut off for when you BIO classes are too old in California? I took them 4 years ago and I'm wondering if I have to retake those classes or not. I did see from past post that some schools make the cut off at 3 years ago but that was like 4 years ago. How old is too old. Thanks!

it probably depends on your school.
one school in the area I'm in requires them to be no more than 10 years old. The other 2 schools don't care how old they are. The one that does care is a hospital affiliated school, as is one that dosen't care and the other one is a state school.

It depends on the program that you are trying to transfer the credits to.

A majority of the programs around Los Angeles range from 5-7 years for prerequisites. Some programs don't have an expiration for the sciences. It really just depends on the program.

Most schools require them to be no more than 10 years old but maybe the more selective schools have stricter guidelines so it can vary

That's a question for your particular school. Every school is different. Contact the nursing advisor there.
