How to obtain Transcripts from closed school

I'm having trouble on obtaining transcripts from the nursing school I attended,, can anyone gete any info

Inquire with the Education Department in your state government. But if it is like with a friend of mine, you may be out of luck.

One of the colleges I went to (not a nursing school) closed down. It was a legitimate school and I was able to get my transcripts from the state's education department and later another college that took custody of the records. So, I second the suggestion already given.

A friend was unable to obtain transcripts from a school she attended which had closed. As I recall, the closed school was in IL.
