How much sleep do you get?

Published

I have found myself requiring at least 9 hours of sleep each night, 10 is ideal. I don't function well on anything less than 8. Does anyone else need this much sleep too? Or even get this much sleep?

I hate yawning during clinicals. I felt bad when a patient was talking to me and I kept yawning and yawning.:o

I'm fortunate in that I don't have a job and my kids are grown and out of the house. My problem is insomnia. I can't sleep. I'm up thinking about the next project or the test coming up or whether I'm going to be able to handle the demands of my program.

When I do sleep, I'm dreaming about the structure of chemicals or solving some problem with a step missing. I'd love to just sleep peacefully. Also, I'm exhuasted when I walk in the door in the afternoon and that's when I get my best sleep. Just gotta have that PM nap.

NOT ENOUGH......that's for sure!

Don't feel bad. I also need about 10 hours sleep a night. And if I don't get that I have to nap. I worried so much about sleeping but now I have come to realize that some people just need more than others.
