Will you be going for a BSN down the road? That D in Organic Chem might come back to bite you later if you don't re-take it. Many schools in my area don't require Chem for the ASN, but all the BSN programs require it. 3 of them require both Gen Chem & Organic Chem. So, it really depends on the school.
Some schools only factor in your pre-req grades to determine your GPA for admission. Others take you cummulative GPA, regardless of the classes you took.
If you want to go on to NP later, you'll definitely need Organic Chem :)

I am currently a nutrition major and want to apply to an absn program after I graduate. I just made a D in organic chemistry 2. I know this isn't a pre requisite for nursing but will this look bad when applying? I could retake it but in the scheme of things it won't affect my GPA too bad and I don't need it for anything but to graduate in my major. I am doing well in my nursing pre reqs and made an A- in the first A+P class.
