Okay, since I didn't get many responses at all from my previous question, I'll ask it in a different way.Has anyone of you who is a RN with a multi-state license ever been hired and relocated from one compact state to another compact state and then of course, later applied for a license in that state? I'm curious to know how often, if at all this happens. I'm not talking about traveling nurses. I'm talking straight up,.. was the employer willing to hold that job for you considering you'd be relocating from another state, so long as you had a multi-state license to practice?
Thanks!:)
Yes, employer held position for me, up to you if you want to pay the annual fee's for multiple licenses.
The reason you aren't getting replies is likely the ambigious title to your thread.
Umm...one has to come on in and actually READ my thread before REPLYING. So, perhaps if one doesn't reply to it, I'll assume because they plain and simple aren't interested in doing so. I'll assume that this applies to you. Thanks for visiting .

I think the point she was trying to make is that when your thread title is really vague, not very many people click on the thread in the first place.
Okay guys, I think I may have found the answers to all my questions. In case anyone else is interested, the website is www.ncsbn.org/nlc
This website contains the fact sheet for licensees and nursing students regarding the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
