How many schools are you applying to?

Hello,

I am curious normally how many schools you guys applying to. My prerequisites are almost 5 years ago (4 year if I got accepted this 2024 Fall) so I am scared of not getting into any school. If I don't get in this time, I needed to either find schools having no restriction on pre-requisites or re-take prerequisites. So, I really want to start this Fall. 

So, how many schools are you applying? I am thinking of about 8 schools but still worried if I need to apply more. Would you mind sharing your thought and plan?
