I have a bunch of prereqs left. How many is manageable in 1 semester? 1 has to be an Anatomy with a lab.. Is 4 total too many? It would be Psychology, Anatomy, English, and Public Speaking? Should I drop 1? I do have to work 3 days a week, so I think thats what worries me :(

It takes time to prepare essays and speeches. Psychology can be a 'lighter' class, depending upon the instructor. If it were me, I would stick with anatomy and psychology. You want to maximize your chances of getting A's. There are some people who take one class at a time only, just to make certain that they can maintain a 4.0 average. That takes planning too, because you don't want the science courses to get "stale". Sign up for the courses. If it seems to be too much, drop, while you can do so without the dropped course(s) showing on your transcripts. Do what you can handle. No sense in overdoing and ruining your chances. Best of luck.

Do what you can! I know at my school they offer the lecture online and you only come in for the lab, that may be better for self learners, those who want more free time, or have prior obligations. I've taken two semesters of online classes and I loved it but to each it's own. And I agree, english and speech together may get overwhelming esp with having to take ap1.

My advice, check out ratemyprofessor.com. See what previous students say about the teachers you will be taking the classes from. For me personally I am 27 with a 5 year old so I wanted to get them done ASAP. My final semester of science pre reqs I was a mad woman. I took Micro, Physiology, Developmental Psych, Sociology & Med Term online also while taking a CNA course on the weekends from 7am to 4pm. To say I had no life and a lack of sleep for five months is an understatement. But I managed to do it with good grades....Micro - B, Phys - A, Psych - A, Sociology - B, and Med Term- A. I also am now a working CNA who has a wonderful kid who just started kindergarten. It takes a lot of time management and really a lot of self discipline and knowing how you study and how well you handle stress. On those days where I thought I was going to die I just remembered how as soon as Nursing apps came out during the summer Id be able to apply really kept me going. Anything is possible as long as you figure out what is best for you. I learned to carry my notecards or books with me everywhere I went always attempting to sneak in a minute of studying or reading here and there

Do whatever amount you feel you can without burning out. 4 is not too many! But you also have to take into account how much time you have free for these classes and if it's an ample amount of time. If not, I'd definitely drop one of the heavier classes, just so I can put more focus on another course. If you take on too many and include work, you may have lower averages in these classes because of lack of time or appropriate management. Best of luck!
