How many days needed to retake the NCLEX-RN?

For people who live in california, how many days do you have to retake the test if you fail the second and third time and so on. I know if you fail the first time you can retake it in 45 days,but i don't know the rest. I heard someone say 6 months if you are retaking it for the third time. Is that correct? I really hope its more like 3 months and not 6. so for those of you who live in california and had to retake it for more than 2 time please help.

i know it only takes 1month before u receive your eligibility again if ur going to take the 2nd or 3rd time..

California requires 45 days between test dates, and that does not matter if the second or third times, etc. They do not differentiate.

There is no wait of 6 months in any state for retesting.
