Hi I'm a graduating LPN and wanted to know how many books are too much to study for the Nclex. I will be getting Saunders 4th edition for content, Kaplan for strategies, and Lacharity for prioritization. Is that enough books to prepare me for the Nclex or sholud I add exam cram also. I heard studying from too many books can confuse u. Is this true? Are my choices of books are correct to hit everything I need I'n order to pass Nclex the first time. Any help Plz. I'm like really nervous and confused about what books to choose from and how many books are just too much!!! What are y'all opinions.

Only you know how many you need to be adequately prepared. It's true that too many will confuse you. One book may say that X medication is the priority in a certain situation, another book will say that Y is the priority in the same exact situation, and another will say Z is the priority and that X and Y are contraindicated.

Up to you what will work for you. You have a good start. Many people are successful just using those three.
