How long will it take for me to wait until Maryland BON pass their approval to NCLEX so they can issue me my ATT? I've been waiting for almost 3 weeks now and i got nothing from them. Anybody, please?????

First Congradulations for making it this far, I sent mine in and got an ATT with in 2 weeks. I also Looked on line at pearson's site for cancellations so I could test faster. I figured I already waited this long and I was studied out!! Also my friend sent her papers in and they were actually reviewing her due to some thing on her record so you might want to check this too. I am sure every thing is ok but I know as soon as I paid the fee to Pearson they gave me an ATT very soon there after, I sat and paid everything with a month.
Good Luck on the board!!!:monkeydance:

I'm thinking mine only took a week or two.

Have you actually submitted the fee to Pearson-Vue for the exam? You will not get an ATT until that is done.
Did you actually receive a letter from Maryland BON that you meet the requirements for licensure?

Foreign trained nurses go thru a special evaluation...........very different from an American applying.
to all who shared their comments and answered my question...Thank you.
Yes, i already paid the $200 nclex registration and NO i have not recieved any letter of approval or any communications at all from Maryland BON. and it's been 3 weeks now so i'm kind'a worried. I have a copy of my CES reprt and my english test result which the Board also has. i also paid the $75 processing fee for Maryland BON. Do you think something went wrong with my requirements???Please help.... this really worries me.

I didn't apply in MD, I applied somewhere else. But from what I've read, you should first be informed by the MD BON that you're eligible and meet the requirements before you register and before you could get an ATT.
I didn't get anything from the BON. About a week after our instructor said she mailed in our eligibility letters I went to the website and paid for the exam. Again bear with my memory but it couldn't have been more than 2 weeks before I got an email saying I had been ok'd and could pick my appointment time. I'd start making some phone calls just to make sure things didn't get mixed up. Good luck.
Again, as a foreign nurse, you will always receive a letter from them that you meet all of the requirements for licensure. And it takes longer for them to approve you than the traditional American-trained nurse.
Even though you have a copy of the CES report, do you knwo for a fact that they received it? I would follow up with the BON to see if somethng is missing from your file, but on average, foreign nurses wait about one month to get approved to sit for the exam for there. And that is after they receive everything..........not from the time that you sent the application.
Oops sorry, I didn't realize this thread was specifically about foreign nurses.
