How long have you waited after an Interview before a response?

I have a Public Health RN position interview two weeks ago and they told me that the process can be very drawn out, taking a few weeks. I am dying of anticipation and praying for an offer....

in the meantime....what is the LONGEST you waited for a response after interview?

The longest I've waited was 2 weeks before they contacted me to ask if they could check references. But I've only been offered three jobs (in nursing) so my sample pool is a bit small.

Interviewed for two jobs and still waiting. Job #1 interviewed the first week of July... Still waiting after multiple follow ups. Job # 2 interviewed the first week of September. Had awesome feedback right after interview. Followed up multiple times, still no decision made. The wait continues!!! Don't give up, still a possibility until you receive a rejection.
