How long is the visa preocess

Hi All

I am a UK nurse, what is the next step after passing the NCLEX exam to getting a work visa? And how long does it take? Roughly at the moment!!!

Not sure which route to go down-direct application to hospital of through agency?

Don't suppose a lawyer would make things quicker :bugeyes:

I suggest you read up on retrogression in the International forum. Current processing times for EB2 (nurses) is 2002. Lawyer will not make things easier at all. Once you have your results and find an employer I140 is filed and once you have approval you are affected

How long's a piece of string??? I'm caught in retrogression along with many others - if things don't change the earliest I reckon I'll get to the USA is 2012!!!

I'm going to Canada instead!!:cheers:
