How long does it take?

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

How long does it take to find out if you got accepted into a nursing program??? A couple of months, weeks? And if you send it in way before the deadline do you find out sooner? I hope so cause this waiting to find out is driving me crazy. :uhoh3: :rotfl:

Did the school say when they would be in touch? You could always try calling them to see if decisions have been made. Good luck.

With our school the deadline is August 31st and the letters to tell us if we have been accepted or not is sent out on October 15th. They said it did not matter if we turned the packet in early or not. They wait till the deadline and then start looking to see who will get in. Good luck!!

At my school the applications must be submitted 4 months before the next class start. They take almost 2 months to tell you if you got in, and 3 months for the wait listed students. No, if you turn it in before the deadline they don't tell you sooner. Usually, they take a couple of days where they are "away" in a room reading through them all and making their decision.

Good luck to you. :)

'Tis true.... Starting October 15th, I will be checking the mail ready to cry....either b/c nothing is in there, I got denied, or I got accepted! LOL

Our timeframe to apply was from April 1st to June 1st for the fall program. They said 6-8 weeks for decisions to be made. My acceptance letter was dated July 15th.
