How long does it it take for the California NCLEX results?

Published

Hi nursing friends!

just took my NCLEX today and it stopped at 75. Felt like I failed it to be honest.

Do you guys know how long on average it takes for the results to come in for California? Or how long did it take for you guys to get your results?

We don't have quick results

thanks all!!

I just took nclex today and I'm trying to find out how long California test takers are waiting.

Mine shut off at 75 with lots of Select all and priority questions. I'm really nervous!

Anybody is still waiting for the result??? I took my PN exam CA last july 26. And I got a good pop up..

I took mine on Aug 8, 2016, i got the "good" pop up! i registered on BreEZe, and its been 48 hours since i took the exam, and the options it was giving me yesterday (24 hours after) about my application was: retake my NCLEX application and some other options. Today its giving me "Vocational nurse initial application for licensure". I am now sure i passed even though i have not received the letter because it does not even give me the option to retake the exam.

itsjaypee08 im on the same boat! i just made an account to reply lol. I took it on august 8 also and same thing for me! got the good pop up. Made a breeze account yesterday and I saw that option of retaking the exam as well. After reading your comment i went to breeze and now that option is gone and that "Vocational nurse initial application of licensure" option is there. I have been anxious this past 48 hrs. Are you sure this means we passed? Thanks!

Yes, so i called BVNPT and was on the phone for 30 minutes... she asked for my social security... i then asked her do i need to attach my letter of my results... she said no because "we know YOU passed"... i just filled out the form all the way to the payment portion to see because the initial license is $150 dollars and to retake the exam is $200. so that means yes it is for the actual license!!! Congrats to you too!!!!

Thank you! Congrats to you too!!! Wait so should I call them too? or just do what you did and go through the application? Or maybe ill just wait till I get the actual letter? Im so relieved and excited at the same time.

Im going to wait because i dont want to put in an application and then they see somehow that i submitted one without knowing my results. And at the end of the application it says that i verified that everything is true. lol. so im just going to wait. but it was a relief to find out that i passed!!!! Congrats to you. Im currently in a RN, BSN program and this gives me faith that i can do the same with the RN NCLEX!!!

So, I tested 9-29-16, its been 3 weeks, 3 days and I've yet to receive results... When I called last week I was told to give it 2 more weeks for results, they only have 1 person processing results right now and were super behind. When I log on to the Breeze website, I can't re-apply, gives me an error message that I have an open application, but I don't have the option to pay for "initial Vocational License". I'm assuming they're still processing results. She did say that once the results were processed I'd see more options to pay for my license, not sure why she would have stated that if I failed? Anyone else test around the time I did and is still waiting for results? I hear and read mixed things, some people say waiting longer is a good sign, but then some people say they got their "congratulations" letter with in a week... When I asked the lady why this would happened she stated their order gets out of order at times, which is why some people get their results before others. IDK what to think at this point, I've got a smidge of hope, but this wait is killing me!!

I saw my name on the website after 2 business days and got my official result in the mail after 10 days.
