My license posted today!!! I paid my fees on Breeze on August 13. After 1 day shy of 7 weeks, it is finally there. This wait is too long to say the least.

When did you pay the initial licensure fee? I tried to go back and find your original post. I paid mine on breeze on Aug 13 and still waiting. I guess since you all have been waiting for 7 weeks, i will assume the same for mine.

I ended up passing. I did the PVT trick after and received the "good pop-up" that everyone is referring to. I took the maximum number of questions. It was easier than i expected but i would have thought that i passed at 85 questions. lol. i did a few SATA, child and adolescent questions (more than i expected), know your values because i got quite a few tables with values on them.. im sure there is much more but that is all i can come up with at this time. I am in the same boat. I paid mine on Aug 13 and still no license. I got a job offer to start as soon as they post it, so im just waiting. This so crazy that even with it being online that it still seems that it takes as long as sending the information through the mail. Good luck to the both of us. Im predicting that they will post it within the next week or two.

The PVT trick still works because i just took my exam on August 8 and received the "good pop-up" after the exam as well. I passed! So congrats to you, nurse @sbfca! Although i have not received by license in the mail yet, i know it will be arriving soon. I would advise you to pay the fees online on BREEZE, which is what i did. I paid for the license on August 13, but still nothing posted online. From what the previous member wrote on Aug 31, it looks like it will be a little while longer than the 4-6 weeks. I am hoping they post my license within the next couple weeks because i have a job offer already! so good luck to you!

Well thats funny that you say that, i was wondering the same thing. On my transcripts it just says "dismissed due to non payment," but all the courses are there. I was afraid of that. I wrote to board of utah, and hopefully they can give me an answer versus me applying and wasting $100 to find out that i am not eligible. I am currently in an accredited RN, BSN program which i worked for outside of LVN/LPN attainment. So that degree is not an issue. I am going to give them a call tomorrow, Monday, to see what i can do about it. I dont understand this whole transferring struggles everyone is going through! i mean the questions on the NCLEX-PN is no more difficult or easier. If its a national exam we all have to take to practice so its just frustrating. Im not too worried about it being that i am in a nursing program, but i wanted to practice for experience and to help me better in the program.

My situation is a little different. So i went to an accredited LVN (CA its LVN) school. Well i completed all the classes from that school and did not "graduate" because i did not pay the tuition. So at the end after a couple months, they "kicked" me out of the school. They released my transcripts once i paid the remaining fees. I was able to sit for the NCLEX-PN by method #3: equivalent education. And when i went to take the boards it was listed as "RN failure taking PN." So how will this effect me because when i transfer my license and send my license along with my transcripts form the accredited school, will they still consider it a license by endorsement?

I am now living in Utah from California. I have a LVN license in California and want to be able to work in Utah. I am going to apply for a transfer by endorsement. Do i have to prove permanent residency here in Utah, as in get a driver's license here in utah? The reason i say that is because i was looking at the NLC website and somewhere it says to be eligible.... i have to prove permanent residency in utah. Is that only if intend to use my license in other compact states including Utah? I am here for school and just want to be able to work as a LPN here for the period i am going to school here. I do not look to work in the compact states. How does this actually work. Can i still work here in Utah as a LPN without having to switch my permanent residency here in this state? I have looked at some information online but i was unclear.

Im going to wait because i dont want to put in an application and then they see somehow that i submitted one without knowing my results. And at the end of the application it says that i verified that everything is true. lol. so im just going to wait. but it was a relief to find out that i passed!!!! Congrats to you. Im currently in a RN, BSN program and this gives me faith that i can do the same with the RN NCLEX!!!

Yes, so i called BVNPT and was on the phone for 30 minutes... she asked for my social security... i then asked her do i need to attach my letter of my results... she said no because "we know YOU passed"... i just filled out the form all the way to the payment portion to see because the initial license is $150 dollars and to retake the exam is $200. so that means yes it is for the actual license!!! Congrats to you too!!!!

I took mine on Aug 8, 2016, i got the "good" pop up! i registered on BreEZe, and its been 48 hours since i took the exam, and the options it was giving me yesterday (24 hours after) about my application was: retake my NCLEX application and some other options. Today its giving me "Vocational nurse initial application for licensure". I am now sure i passed even though i have not received the letter because it does not even give me the option to retake the exam.

I just took my CA PN boards August 8, 2016. Did the pearson vue trick and got the "good" pop up. hopefully i passed. @PLOVE26, i hope you passed as well. I answered all 205 questions, and my last question was a SATA! There was no way i answered that question correctly. There were several times where i had 2 back to back SATA. People say that the more SATA that you get the better, but the more SATA i get, the more answers i get wrong. LoL. Im hoping that the pearson vue trick is true, but i have to wait another 4-6 weeks. My goal is BSN. Im using the LVN program as a stepping stone to get into a RN program. I know the limitations that an LVN has vs. a RN. This is will not be my last stop but the path i have decided to take.

sasha1224, the bachelor's program is just as hard and competitive to get in as a regular RN program so im thinking of getting my foot in the door with my career and just begin the LVN so when im done with that i can start the RN bridge with most of my prereq's done it should be a piece of cake getting into a RN program and also cheaper. thanks everyone for your comments and suggestions i do appreciate this especially when these are the same individuals going through the same situation or have been in the same situation or those that are just nurses. thanks again! see you guys in the hospitals!

BabyCatchr i have a Bachelor's degree and have nearly completed all my pre req's, but grades are about a 2.5 accum. and my last 60 is about 2.9 which is almost a 3.0 but borderline. So many of the schools here are requesting for at least a 3.0 accum or at 3.0 in the last 60. So if i were to take the LVN program i can go for the RN faster because most my pre req's are finished. And while i have my LVN i can begin working in a facility (of course if i can find one) while also attending part time in school and make some type of income. SO for me it is just time, if i do not get into a program for another year, i will basically be working at the same retail job for another year when i could have at least finished my LVN. I have heard that it is easier for an LVN to get their RN as well. So it is alot to think about!!! Sasha1224, if i take the LVN pathway, i still would still be going back to school after.
